she was on one of the witnessing carts in town at a station i don’t usually get off at.

Hi - I'm new here. Just wanted to say I'm really sorry to hear about this. Although you try not to care, it's your mother and I'm sure it affects you on some level. How astonishing that your daughter did not even know who she was. They've both missed out on so much! It's just so unnatural, warped, wrong.
By posting your experience you might be helping someone who is researching the religion to see the reality of what really goes on - the opposite of what their study conductor would be telling them about the "love of the brotherhood" etc. You never know who is reading and something good may well come from it. jws abhor child abuse and view it as a crime.its recognized that the authorities are responsible for addressing such crimes.jws do not shield any perpetrator of child abuse from the authorities as has been alleged.

Alex and Mr "Theocracy" are not here to have an open mind and remove their blinkers. They want comfort, not facts. They are trying to comfort themselves that their religion is "the truth" and that their life is not a lie. They do not have the humility or strength of character to take their heads out of the sand and think for one moment about the many, many victims and their stories, or perhaps they think they are carrying out "theocratic warfare". They would rather defend the despicable act of covering up child abuse that their religion is so clearly guilty of. There really is no hope for such people. They have no conscience.

Your ignorant comments are an insult to the many thousands of child abuse victims who have experienced, and continue to experience, untold suffering at the hands of your corrupt religion. In the Australian Royal Commission alone it was found that the JW organisation had records relating to over 1800 cases of child abuse and NOT ONE had been reported to the authorities. NOT ONE. If you think that is even remotely acceptable, you have not one shred of decency. You come here to defend that? It's indefensible and abhorrent.
